Michael Garcia-Webb, PHD

Michael Garcia-Webb, PhD, joined Foghorn Therapeutics in 2024 as VP, Chief of Staff Research. He brings more than 16 years of discovery, development and commercial experience across multiple therapeutic areas to the organization.

Before joining Foghorn, Michael worked at several oncology and immunology focused startups in cross functional leadership roles. Most recently, he was a program leader at C4 Therapeutics for two assets (pre-clinical and early clinical stage) in hematologic cancer and non-small cell lung cancer.

Prior to this, Michael held roles of increasing responsibility at Biogen in the commercial function; he was a global brand lead for TYSABRI, led a team focused on market development for Alzheimer’s disease and led a team doing strategic analytics and forecasting. Before Biogen, Michael spent five years as a consultant at McKinsey where he focused on the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Michael received his PhD in bioengineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
